My Story
MY SCENTSY STORY I believe in love at first sight! I fell in love with my sweetheart, John, the first time I saw his face. I fell in love with my 6 children and 6 grandchildren the first time I saw their faces. And I fell in love with Scentsy the first time I saw it. I was introduced to Scentsy at an outdoor festival in the North Georgia Mountains in July, 2013. The warmers were stunning and I hadn’t even smelled the wax yet! My mom had a candle business when I was growing up so I love, love, love candles – until one Christmas morning, a fire caused by a candle destroyed my main bathroom! But Scentsy has no flame – just a simple bulb to melt the yummy smelling wax. Finally I found a SAFE and gorgeous alternative to candles! I filled my home with warmers and gave tons of them as gifts. And even though I had a full-time job and really didn’t need one more thing to do, it wasn’t long before it just made perfect sense to launch my own Scentsy business. And so I did on Oct. 31, 2013! It was so AFFORDABLE to join and I decided I would just work Scentsy into and around my life. I love the intimacy of doing home parties and especially love introducing people to Scentsy at events. But the great thing about having my own home-based business is that it gives me the FLEXIBILITY to work it however, whenever and wherever I want! I am doubly blessed because my husband is hooked on Scentsy, too. In fact, he loves it so much that he works my business side by side with me! Because of Scentsy, we are having the time of our lives meeting so many wonderful people, making NEW FRIENDS, spending so much time together doing something we love and are passionate about and feeding our Scentsy addiction! And did I mention our EXTRA INCOME from Scentsy?!?! Score!!! Five years later, we are continuing to grow our business and work has never been so much FUN! Scentsy is truly an AMAZING COMPANY that makes the best products of its kind on the market! Yes, I do firmly believe in love at first sight and I believe in the power of love.
